Sonic Optimises CinePlayer CE Navigator for
Integration with Texas Instruments’ DaVinci Technology

May 31st, 2007 – Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ: SNIC)
today announced an agreement to license its Sonic® CinePlayer® CE Navigator
to Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN). TI will offer CinePlayer Navigator
with DaVinci™ processors, the world’s most advanced semiconductor for
next generation digital video products. The agreement extends the
reach of Sonic technology, which will provide core interactive functionality
for DaVinci processors in a vast array of digital video applications,
such as videophones, automotive infotainment, digital still cameras,
streaming media, IP set-top boxes, and video security systems.
