DVD format matters

  • Testing shows that the format of the recordable media is important in determining compatibility between recorded disc and player.
  • Older DVD players may have issues with newer media formats (DVD -RW, DVD +RW)
  • DVD-RW and DVD+RW are very similar, but are the least compatible of all the media types tested.
